Workout Tracking Logs

I use my own custom made workout log template to track the progress of my workouts. I track a few things:

Biometric information:

  • Weight
  • Body fat %
  • Lean body mass %
  • Water mass %
  • Resting Metabolic Rate  (RMR)
General conditioning
  • Hours of sleep
  • Energy level (high, medium, low)

Nutrition information

  • Calories burned vs. calories consumed vs. calories required for maintenance

Workout information

  • Type of the workout (resistance training, HIIT, steady cardio, etc.)
  • Total volume for weight lifting workouts
  • Workout duration
  • Max vs. average heart rate
  • Time in fat burning zone vs. time in athletic conditioning zone
