I was always very active and always liked athletics. When I was a kid I was playing hockey and in my teens I was into martial arts. I was pretty lean and small right until I got injured during the sparring with my best friend. I ended up spending two weeks in the hospital as the result of this injury and then I had to quit martial arts. Unfortunately, at that point not only I quit martial arts but also stopped doing any physical activities and became fairly sedentary. I am a typical Endomorph which means I gain weight pretty quickly and most of that weight is not muscle. Really quickly I gained about fifty pounds and got really fat. It did not really bother me but I knew that I would have to do something about it at some point.

My wake up call was when my father-in-law passed away at the age of 45. That’s what got me thinking about getting back in shape. I started running and playing hockey again. I quickly lost a lot of weight but then I got injured during a hockey game and for a long time could not even walk without a lot of pain. This was a major set back for me and I gained a lot of weight again.

It took me about eight months to recover to the point when I was able to work out again. Right around that time a good friend of mine suggested that I should try P90X. I decided to give it a try and absolutely loved this program. I did the whole program and was amazed with the results. I lost a lot of weight and went down a few sizes. I did P90X two more times back-to-back and eventually got to my target weight of 176 lbs and about 8% body fat.

I can definitely say that P90X has changed my life and I signed up to be a Beachbody coach so that I could help others achieve the same results that I did. A few months ago I started my own blog where I talk about various fitness-related topics including nutrition, workout routines, workout gear, supplements, etc. I also occasionally train some of my friends.

If you are like me and would like to lose a little extra weight then let me know and I would be happy to help you and coach you through the weigh loss journey:

1. Make a commitment to yourself – for the next 90 days you will push yourself like you never did before and will not stop until these 90 days are over and you reached your fitness goals

2. Register on Beachbody website and select me as your coach. If you would like to change your coach and select me instead you can also do that. Why do you need to choose me? Because I have done this and I can help you to get this done too.

3. Purchase P90X. If you are not sure which P90X package is right for you then consider this: for P90X you will need to get either some weights or resistance bands and a pull up bar. If you already have this equipment or feel confident and comfortable getting all of that – then you can get the basic package. If you prefer to get everything in one shipment – then get P90X Peak Results Package which will not only include both the resistance bands and the pull-up bar, but also comes with full 30 days supply of P90X Results and Recovery formula (a nutrition supplement that will help you recover faster between your workouts). If you have any wrist pains or wrist injuries (or had them in the past) I would also suggest that you consider buying push-up bars. Unlike the ones you can buy in stores these ones are designed in a way that will make sure they won’t roll on you and you won’t get injured.
